The First Baptist Church is an independent, dispensational, Christ-believing, Christ-preaching and Christ-centered Church. The Church was established in 1833 and incorporated in 1841.
The Church offers evangelistic ministries for men, women, teens, and singles.
There is a choir, drama group and library, The Church offers counseling, visitations and fellowhsips.
Sunday School is at 9:30 AM and Sunday Morning Worship is at 10:30 AM. There is a Sunday evening Bible Study at 6:00 PM and a Thursday evening Prayer Meeting at 7:00 PM.
The Church runs an Awana program (September through May, ages 4 to teen) where children in Saugerties and the surrounding area can learn Bible verses and stories and participate in recreational activities.
